Local train timings changed after State Govt request

GUWAHATI, Jan 14 - Maligaon-headquartered Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has changed the timings of a few local trains with effect from January 17.

The change in timings has been made after the Government of Assam made a request to the NFR following a change in the working hours at government offices which were introduced from the New Year day. The 55801 New Bongaigaon-Guwahati Manas Rhino Passenger will now leave from New Bongaigaon at 4.25 am instead of 4.50 am.

The train will depart from Rangiya at 7.19 am instead of 7.47 am and will now arrive at Guwahati at 8.50 am instead of 9.15 am.

The 75723 New Bongaigaon-Goalpara-Guwahati DEMU will now leave from New Bongaigaon at 4.45 am instead of 5.15 am and will now arrive at Guwahati at 9.05 am instead of 9.25 am.

The 55604 Mairabari-Chaparmukh-Guwahati Kolongpar Passenger will now leave from Mairabari at 4 am instead of 4.35 am. It will leave Chaparmukh at 6.12 am instead of 6.47 am and will arrive at Guwahati at 9.05 am instead of 9.35 am.

The 15769 Alipurduar Junction-Lumding Intercity Express will leave from Alipurduar Junction at 3.20 am instead of 3.45 am. It will leave from New Bongaigaon at 5.20 am instead of 5.45 am and from Rangiya at 7.47 am instead of 8.20 am to arrive Guwahati at 9.30 am instead of 9.55 am.

In view of these changes, the 55818 Guwahati-New Bongaigaon Passenger will now leave Guwahati at 8.10 am and from Kamakhya at 8.32 am from January 17.
