TURA, April 20 - Residents here have questioned the rationale of the Meghalaya Energy Corporation Limited (MeECL) over the loadshedding schedule for the town.
Residents here are facing a three-hour shutdown as part of the loadshedding process. While the duration of the shutdown is not the problem, the timing � 3 pm to 6 pm � has irked most people in the town.
�The power shutdown timings have hampered work in all respects and need to be changed,� complained a resident here. Significantly, due to lack of power some government offices get closed much before time.
