GUWAHATI, Nov 3 � A live phone-in interactive programme � Raijor Padulit Raijor Sarkar � featuring Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi will be telecast by DDK, Guwahati on November 9 between 6.00 pm and 6.30 pm.
The 30-minute programme will be initially a monthly one.
The first programme will be on panchayat and rural development-related schemes. Minister for Panchayat and Rural Development Rockybul Hussain and senior officials of his department will be present in the programme, stated an official press release.
The programme is yet another step of the government towards bringing the administration closer to the people.
Viewers could participate in the live phone-in programme by dialling 0361-2207182/83/84/86, the press release added.
