GUWAHATI, July 4 - Under the supervision of the Superintendent of Excise (Kamrup Metro), the excise department carried out a raid at Fatasil Bazar around 9.20 am today.
During the operation, eight cases of illegal India made foreign liquor (IMFL) were seized and eight persons arrested.
The seized liquor was later destroyed in presence of witnesses. A case has been registered under the Assam Excise Act in this regard.
