GUWAHATI, Aug 14 - To mark the first project of its golden jubilee celebrations, Lions Club of Gauhati is launching �Project - Bag of Hope� (Relieve the hunger) tomorrow where the organisation will distribute more than 500 grocery kits consisting of rice, dal, oil, sugar, soya nuggets, salt, turmeric, etc., to needy families at different locations of the city.
The organisation has pledged to distribute such kits every month for at least one year. The project is funded with the support and contribution of its members.
