GUWAHATI, July 3 - The newly elected 51st Board of Directors (2020-21) of the Lions Club of Gauhati was virtually installed through a webinar on June 28 last by the Past International Director GS Hora as Installation Officer and Sudhir Choudhary, District Governor, 322G as the chief guest of the programme.
The new board was installed under the leadership of Kishore Saboo as president, Dilip Saraf as secretary and Rajesh Burakia as treasurer for the year 2020-21.
The outgoing president of the Club, Sunil Agarwal announced the Lions Club of Gauhati Annula Award (2019-20) and awarded 40 members for their dedicated services in different categories.
DP Bajaj, Past District Governor was honoured with �Most Respectable Lion� award whereas Ajay Poddar was conferred with the �Lion of the Year Award� for his dedicated and selfless service rendered during the lockdown period, a press release stated.
