TURA, May 21 � One person was killed and another severely injured when they were struck by lightning in Khaskona village in Damas, in the North Garo Hills district this afternoon.
One Elsing Marak( 25), was electrocuted as he went out to have a cup of tea.
Bilal Sangma (37), who has been moved to the Goalpara hospital for treatment of severe burns, was washing his hands in rain water coming down their roof when he was hit by lightning.
