BONGAIGAON, Sept 30 � Bongaigaon Fast Track Court of Additional District and Sessions Judge PC Das, today awarded life imprisonment to Eunus Ali, Eurnus Ali Mun, Kasem Ali, Abu Hanif, Abdul Kalam, Sahjamal Ali and Zil Haque who murdered one Tazem Ali of Borghola brutally on May 23, 2004.
Besides lifer, these accused were fined Rs 10,000, non-payment of which will increase their imprisonment by another 6 months. Similarly, another accused named Abbas Ali of Dongliapara under Bijni PS, who too killed his wife Reshmira Khatun with an axe on March 12, 2009 was also awarded life imprisonment today by the same court along with fine of Rs 10,000.
