JALUKBARI, July 3 - A two/three-day-old leopard cub that got separated from its mother, was rescued at Gaushala, Debakantanagar in Maligaon today.
Some people spotted the cub in the area and informed the Gaushala Police Outpost. Subsequently, a team of forest officials reached the spot and rescued the cub. Later the cub was handed over to the State Zoo. Panic still prevails in the area as the locals fear that the cub�s mother might come in search of its baby during the night.
