JALUKBARI, March 9 - A leopard that had caused panic among the residents of Adingiri�s Shankardev Nagar, Maligaon for several hours late last night, finally found itself in the State Zoo today.
According to witness accounts, the leopard which was chasing a goat, wrongly entered the residence of Deepak Hujuri and Kamala Hujuri and injured them critically. The couple somehow managed to lock the door of their room and raised a hue and cry. The locals informed the police and forest officials.
Forest officials reached the spot in the morning and tranquilized the feline. Later they took the cat to the State Zoo. The injured Hujuri couple are currently undergoing treatment at the�Sanjeevani Hospital.
