DHUBRI, Nov 21 - A legal awareness programme was organised by Dhubri Law College at its premises recently in collaboration with Dhubri District Legal Services Authority (DDLSA) to make the people of the district aware about important provisions of law.
Principal of Dhubri Law College Taufiqul Islam presided over the programme, which was attended by Shah Syed Ahadur Rahman, Secretary of DDLSA. Rahman spoke about various legal issues.
The participants were acquainted with various programmes of the legal services authority and how to avail the benefits of these programmes.
Nabadipa Karmakar, Udayranjan Roy Prodhani, Pronoty Roy Sarkar, Zahid Hussain and Pronobjyoti Choudhury took part in the programme as resource persons. They elaborated on the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987.
