JALUKBARI, May 31 - The Department of Folklore Research, Gauhati University organised a lecture by distinguished folklorist and Professor from the University of Tartu, Estonia Ulo Valk on Monday. On the occasion a book by Dr Mrinal Medhi, Assamese Folktales: A structural analysis was released in the presence of several academicians and scholars. The journal of the Department of Folklore Research, Journal of Folkloristics was also released at the event.
