JAGIROAD, Oct 4 - Lachit Sangha, Dohali-Mokoria emerged champions in the 1st Lalit Chandra Deka Memorial Football Tournament defeating Tiger Club, Bangthaigaon 3-1 in the final at the Jagiroad Sports Association play ground here today.
Dipjyoti Bordoloi of Lachit Sangha opened the account in the 8th minute and he doubled the lead in the 50th minute. Nirab Dewri reduced the margin in the 58th minute but Bindu Bordoloi confirmed Lachit Sangha�s victory scoring the third goal after one minute. Rantu Doloi of Tiger Club was the highest scorer in the meet.
Sanjib Saikia, Munindra Deka and Jitendra Kr Deka were the guests who gave away the trophies.
