NORTH LAKHIMPUR, March 30 - Nakari Club won the Lakhimpur Cricket League outplaying Design and Bulid (D&B) by eight wickets in the final played at the North Lakhimpur HS School playground today.
D&B were all out for a paltry 64 in 17.4 overs as Hrishikesh Bora (4/9) and Jitumoni Kalita (4/27) wrecked their innings.
In reply Nakari scored 69 for the loss of two wickets in 15.4 overs. Jitumoni Kalita and Raju Pegu were adjudged man-of-the-match and man-of-the-series respectively.
