AIZAWL, June 22 - A 23-year-old labourer was killed at a stone quarry at Hlimen, about 15 kms south of Aizawl, as it caved in on him at around 1:00 pm today.
Several labourers were working at the stone quarry when it collapsed, but the rest of them managed to escape unhurt. The victim was a stone blaster.
Earth excavators were employed to retrieve the body of the deceased identified as Hruaizela, a resident of Samtlang village.
His body was yet to be recovered till the time of filing this report.
