GUWAHATI, Feb 1 - Addl CS, IPRD, Assam, Kumar Sanjay Krishna convened an interactive session with the officials of the Directorate of Information & Public Relations including the district and sub-divisional officers, today in his office chamber at Janata Bhawan.
The Addl CS took stock of the present functioning of the field offices and directed all officials to work beyond their regular schedule by reaching out to the masses, especially the rural populace.
He also said that the present Union and State governments have initiated various welfare schemes for the benefit of the general people, which need to be publicised for their proper implementation at the grassroots.
The interactive session was also attended by Rajib Prakash Baruah, OSD, IPRD and Anupam Chaudhary, Director of Information & Public Relations. In their respective speeches both Baruah and Chaudhary emphasised proper public relations activity through local media and local masses in respect of all welfare schemes launched by the government.
