DIBRUGARH, March 18 - Taking serious exception to the ruthless burning down of houses in one Kuki village of Manipur, the Kuki community of Dibrugarh here held an emergency meeting on Tuesday, where members unanimously agreed upon to stand in solidarity with the victims of the innocent villagers of Chasad village of Manipur which was completely burned down by the miscreants on March 16, 2020.
The meeting was convened by Dr L Doungel, advisor of the Kuki Students� Organisation of Dibrugarh. All members present in the meeting expressed their anguish over the incident and conveyed their heartfelt sympathy and prayed for all the innocent victims. They condemned the shocking and heinous incident.
