SHILLONG, Nov 2 - President Ram Nath Kovind will make his maiden visit to Meghalaya on Monday to address the convocation of the North Eastern Hill University (NEHU).
The President will arrive from Guwahati by an IAF helicopter and land at the Advanced Landing Ground at Eastern Air Command headquarters in Upper Shillong. Governor Tathagata Roy, Chief Minister Conrad Sangma and other dignitaries will receive Kovind.
NEHU VC Prof SK Srivastava said that the university was all set to welcome the President, who is also the Visitor to the Central university. � IANS
