TIHU, Dec 17 - Barhoonkha FC of Kokrajhar emerged champions in the first Sobharam Pathak Memorial Night Football Championship defeating GT FC of Goreswar by a margin of 3-1 goals in the final being played at the Makhibaha HS Playground last night.
The final match was formally inaugurated by international footballer Gilbertson Sangma in presence of large gathering.
Dilson Daimary of GT FC was adjudged the best player of the final match while Mahadev Basumatary and Biswajit Baro of Kokrajhar team were awarded the best defender and best goalkeeper trophies respectively. The tournament was organised by the Makhibaha Anchalik Students Union. � ANN Service
