MUMBAI, April 15 (IANS): Kochi Tuskers opened their account in the Indian Premier League (IPL) with an eight-wicket victory over Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium here Friday. Chasing a victory target of 183 runs, Tuskers cruised home with an over to spare.

Brendon McCullum (81) and captain Mahela Jayawardene (56) set up the chase with a 128-run opening stand. Ravindra Jadeja (25) finished the match with two consecutive sixes.

For Mumbai, Sachin Tendulkar scored 100 off 66 balls.
