GUWAHATI, Dec 29 - Nihad Islam Hazarika, Nalinakhya Kashyap, Chaarvi Choudhury, Anubrat Barthakur, Ikshita Barman and Rayhaan Hussain entered the quarterfinals of the Guwahati Chess Academy organised knock-out chess tournament.
In the second-round games, Nihad Islam beat Chiranjib Goswami 2-0, Nalinakhya Kashyap beat Anish Goswami 2-0, Chaarvi Choudhury beat Pusphas Sarma 2-0, Anubrat Barthakur beat Emil Borgohain 2-0 and Rayhaan Hussain beat Jayraj Barman 2-0.
