GUWAHATI, June 22 � Members of the Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS) held a meeting at the Lakhidhar Bora Kshetra here today in support of their demand for allotment of 1.5 katha of government and forest land in the city to those who settled on such plots of land prior to June 28, 2011 and are �landless indigenous people.�
They also demanded cancellation of land allotments to the industrial units and business establishments on the city hills, wetlands and Government land. This was stated in a press release.
