KMSS denies CMs charge

By Staff Reporter

GUWAHATI, April 13 The Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS) today said that it represents the aggrieved people of the state and is not serving as an agent of any political party as has been alleged by Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi.

In a statement here, KMSS said the Chief Minister was haunted by the spectre of KMSS is evident from the statement he made in a Press meet yesterday. It has also expressed the apprehension that the Congress might have tampered with the electronic voting machines as has been seen from the assertion made by Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in an interview with a private TV channel that the Congress would win in several lacs.

The opposition political parties should remain vigilant against all such designs of the Congress and the Election Commission should also take stern action against such misdeeds, said the KMSS.
