KMSS call to fight corruption

GUWAHATI, Aug 2 � General secretary of Krishak Mukti Sangram Samity (KMSS) Akhil Gogoi has appealed to the people of North East to join the movement against corruption launched under the banner of India Against Corruption and KMSS.

Gogoi was addressing members of national media along with Gandhian Anna Hazare, RTI activist Arvind Kejriwal, Medha Patker and several others on the Jana Lokpal Bill to be placed tomorrow in the Parliament, a press release stated.

Moreover, the KMSS also expressed its resentment over the rising number of deaths owing to encephalitis and demanded of the Health Department to take necessary measures and provide compensation to the victims.
