RAHA, July 12 - Raha Police today arrested 10 Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS) activists who were staging protests at Raha Chariali, demanding closure of the Raha toll gate. The KMSS activists also entered into a heated argument with the police.
The KMSS agitators slammed the BJP Government�s alleged anti-people policies and reopening of the toll gate here by raising slogans. The KMSS warned of intensifying its agitation if the toll gate was not immediately closed. It asked the people not to pay any toll.
The Raha toll gate was reopened by the NHAI under heavy security arrangements today.
