GUWAHATI, July 30 - The 7th All Assam State Level Inter School Kickboxing Championship and 3rd All Assam State Level Inter College Kickboxing Championship came to an end at the Housing Colony auditorium in Rukmini Nagar, Dispur here on Sunday.

The championship was organised by the Assam Kickboxing Association and supported by Higher Secondary and Elementary Education Departments of Government of Assam. Altogether 245 players and 23 officials, both boys and girls in the age group of U-24, 19, 17 and 14 years from 15 districts took part in the three-day championship in the Kick Light, Light Contact, Low Kick and Full Contact events as per weight categories of WAKO Kickboxing.

The championship was inaugurated by Biswajit Kakoti, Board Member, National Kickboxing Federation, WAKO India while prizes were distributed by the members of technical council of AKA. Among the colleges, Guwahati, Udalguri and Sivasagar took top three positions respectively while among schools top three positions were held by Barpeta, Baksa and Udalguri, stated a release.
