GUWAHATI, March 6 - The Special Olympics Bharat (SOB) has conducted the Khelo India programme for disability at the Sarusajai Sports Complex here on March 3.
Around 200 special athletes from Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Mizoram and Meghalaya took part in the day-long programme.
Events like race, shot-put, softball and football along with unified events of football and relay race were organised in the programme.
Director of Information and Public Relations, Rajib Prakash Baruah and secretary of the Assam Athletic Association, Pradip Nunisa were present on the occasion as guests. They also gave away the prizes, informed Dr Anjana Goswami, area director, SOB, Assam in a release.
