GUWAHATI, Nov 5 � The play Khel-na, staged by the students of Guwahati Sishu Natya Bidyalaya (Guwahati Children�s drama school) has been selected to the National School of Drama, New Delhi organised National Children�s Drama Festival billed Joshne Bachchpan.
Khel-na is among the few of the dramas to be selected for the festival out of around 200 plays from different parts of the country which vied for selection.
Khel-na is written and directed by Manik Roy, is slated to be staged in the NSD auditorium on November 11. The play has also been invited to a drama festival organised by Kilkari Balbhawan, Bihar where it will be staged on November 15.
The drama had drawn critical reviews at the National Drama Festival organised by Kerala Sangeet Natak Akademy in April last.
Meanwhile, Hindi rehearsal of the drama is on in full-swing for the Delhi and Bihar events on November 11 and 15 respectively.
