ITANAGAR, June 6 - Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Thursday called upon all the district administrations of Siang, West Siang, Lower Siang and Shi-Yomi to intensify the search operation for the IAF�s AN-32 aircraft that went missing in the mountainous State on Monday.
A statement issued by the CMO today stated that worried over the safety of the 13 people aboard the IAF AN-32 aircraft from Jorhat in Assam to Mechuka in Shi-Yomi district of Arunachal Pradesh, the CM called all the concerned district administrations to intensify the search.
Meanwhile, a joint effort by civil police, Army and Air Force is on to search the possible crash location in an area of about 2,500 sq km under Kaying and Payum Circles of Siang district.
