ITANAGAR, Sept 13 - Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu today urged Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh to create a separate IAS/IPS/IFS cadre for the State.

He called on Union Home Minister in New Delhi to discuss various other issues pertaining to the Home department of theState. Union Minister of State for Home Kiren Rijiju also accompanied the CM during the meeting. Singh assured all possible help and support to the State Government.

Presently, the State is under the combined AGMUT cadre which is a joint cadre forArunachal Pradesh, Goa, Mizoram and Union Territories.
