GUWAHATI, Nov 24 - The Ranji Trophy Group C match between Kerala and Andhra at the Barsapara stadium here today ended in a draw.
Requiring 296 in the second innings, Andhra were 193 for four when the stumps were finally drawn. By virtue of the first innings lead, Andhra collected three points against Kerala�s one.
Kerala declared their second innings at the total of 302 for six. Resuming at the overnight total of 229 for five, Kerala added 73 runs before declaring. Sachin Baby remained unbeaten on 60.
Andhra batsmen hardly tried for an outright victory and thus playing it safe. Opener KS Bharat (73), GH Vihari (not out 53) and RK Bhui (44) were the main contributors for Andhra as the team batted for 80 overs.
