GUWAHATI, April 6 � Members of the International Volunteer Organisation for Women Education, Development (VIDES), today held a voluntary action camp to keep Guwahati clean. Alphonsa Kurisingal, province delegate of VIDES, ING inspired the participants and children to promote eco-spirituality. She said that those who keep themselves and their surroundings clean can clean their thoughts and actions. It is important to have proper drainage and sanitation works, and it is unfortunate that many people do not care about those. It is important that people refrained from throwing garbage everywhere, which caused harm to human beings and the environment, a press release stated.
