GUWAHATI, June 17 - The foundation stone of the new building of 94-years-old Kamrup Byam Samity (KBS) was laid today by the Minister�of Law and Justice, Cooperation and GDD, Government of�Assam, Siddhartha Bhattacharya at the KBS premises in Happyvilla here.
The function was attended by Umananda Doley, CEO GMDA, sportspersons Joon Barkakaty, PK Bhowmick, Raj Kr Das, Kishore Baruah, Rakhi Sarma, Ramani Sarma, among others.
KBS adviser Kailash Sarma presided over the meeting which also condoled the untimely demise of Nirmal Nunisa, who was the chief engineer of GMDA.
