NILAMBAZAR, Nov 27 - The State Government is going to set up three new block offices in Karimganj district for smooth functioning and proper implementation of developmental works. The district administration had sent a proposal seeking three new developmental blocks at Nilambazar, Bazarghat and Karnamadhu.
The decision in this regard was taken at a meeting held at the DCs conference hall recently. Besides three new blocks, two offices will be established under South Karimganj Assembly constituency and another office at North Karimganj constituency. The district administration has informed that all earlier orders and Gazette notification published in February, 2016 regarding reorganization of development blocks has been nullified by the government.
