Karbi king coronation

DIPHU, Dec 11 - Ramsing Ronghang of Nokterang Ronghang village, situated in West Karbi Anglong, is set to be elected as next Karbi traditional king shortly. He will succeed His Highness Harsing Ronghang. Brisk preparation is on at Ronghang Rongbong, the conventional capital of Karbi kingdom located at West Karbi Anglong. Search for the new Karbi king began after removal of His Highness King Harsing Ronghang on November 22, 2017. Members of the Council have informed that traditional ceremony would be held on December 25 and the coronation of the new Karbi king will take place on December 26.
