Karatekas felicitated

GUWAHATI, Nov 24 - The United Karate Do Association Assam (UKAA) has felicitated all the medal winning karatekas in the recently concluded 5th South Asian Karate Championship at Dhaka and Sharjah Open International Karate Championship, UAE.

Ishita Kashyap who won silver medal in South Asian Karate and Advik Majumdar who won a gold, a silver and Ashis Talukdar, bronze medalist in Sharjah championship were felicitated by the senior sports organizer Premadhar Sarma, treasurer, Assam Olympic Association (AOA) Tapan Kumar Das, AOA VP Raj Kakati, AOA associate VP Bishnu Ram Nunisha, and AOA CEO Gautam Choudhury in the felicitation function held at the AOA conference hall in the RG Baruah Sports Complex here today.

On other hand the UKAA informed that, its extended executive meeting held today has decided to organize the 7th edition of North East Karate Championship on December 21 and 22 here where around 600 players from Seven different states of North East will take part.
