GUWAHATI, April 4 - Bhetapara Karate-do Academy emerged champions in the All Guwahati Karate-do Championship, organised by the Lachit Sangha Karate-do Academy at the Ulubari High School here recently.

Altogether 250 karatekas took part in the meet. Vicky Rahman of Santipur Karate Academy became the best karateka in the senior man category while in the woman section Bandana Deka of Ambari Karate Academy got the best fighter title. In the junior category, Abhirup Saikia of Bhetapara and Sujan Nessa of Lachit Sangha won the best karateka titles in the boys and girls sections respectively.
