DIBRUGARH, Dec 12 - The 15-day Women�s Self Defence Karate Training Camp organised by the Office of the District Sports Officer, Dibrugarh in association with Bishnujyoti, Udipta, Nabaranga and Boragadhoi Yuva Sangha came to an end at Muluk Gaon near here yesterday.
The closing ceremony was attended by Dhrubajyoti Deka, DSO, Dibrugarh; Bimal Chandra Gogoi, sub-divisional sports officer, Dibrugarh; Pulak Sonowal, president, Bindhakata Gaon Panchayat, among others.
The participants were provided certificates by the Dibrugarh District Sports Office.
The programme was successfully conducted by Niren Phukan, 5th dan black belt and general secretary of Dibrugarh District Karate-Do Association. He was assisted by Biswajit Sonowal, 4th dan black belt and Shainee Sonowal of Tengakhat Karate-Do Academy.
