Kanchanjunga Express to run up to Silchar

GUWAHATI, Jan 30 - The Kanchanjunga Express train, presently running between Guwahati and Sealdah, will be extended to Silchar thrice a week as Link Kanchanjunga Express from February 1.

�The 25658 Down Silchar-Guwahati Link Kanchanjunga Express will leave Silchar at 9.45 am every Monday, Wednesday and Friday with effect from February 1 to arrive at Guwahati at 10.25 pm, while the 25657 Up Guwahati-Silchar Link Kanchanjunga Express will leave from Guwahati at 4.35 am every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday to arrive at Silchar at 4.40 pm with effect from February 2,� said an official statement issued by the NF Railway. The train will run via Patharkhola-Mandardisa section and have stoppages at Badarpur and New Halflong stations.
