GUWAHATI, April 11 - Kamrup sailed into the final of the 11th Veteran Inter District and Inter Institution Invitational T-20 Cricket Tournament in memory of Madhurjya Prasad Barooah and Badan Chandra Saikia.
In the first semifinal played at the Mangaldai College ground, Kamrup prevailed over Guwahati by 45 runs.
Man-of-the-Match Mukut Kalita, with a 40-ball 67 enabled Kamrup in reaching a commendable total of 171 for seven in 20 overs.
The Guwahati team failed to hit form and were restricted to 126 for nine.
