Kamrup (M) taekwondo

GUWAHATI, May 11 - The newly elected body of the Kamrup Metro District Taekwondo Association (KMDTA) has decided to pick up talents from the grassroot level through a series of camps, various competitions and training.

Stating this in a release, the KMDTA expressed their keen interest for this event of martial arts. The new body of the Kamrup Metro District Taekwondo Association, comprised of national level players and sports organisers, is committed to work for the development of game of taekwondo in Kamrup. Raj Kakati has been nominated as the chief advisor while Pranjal Baruah is named president and Imradul Haque working president of the new body.

Other office bearers are-(vice presidents) Bhopal Thapa, Dr Niharjyoti Das and Jubili Payeng, (treasurer)-Dinesh Gupta, (general secretary) Ali Ahmed Zafri.
