GUWAHATI, Aug 3 - The 5th edition of the Kamrup Metro District Karate Championship will be held tomorrow with a day long program at the Bhogeswari Phukanani Indoor Stadium, Dispur which is being organised by the Greater Guwahati Karate Do Association (GGKA) affiliated to United Karate Do Association Assam.
A total number of 480 players from 22 different affiliated clubs of the district under GGKA have already been registered their names to participate in the championship from which the Kamrup Metro players will be short listed for the coming Lower Assam Zone Inter District Karate Championship.
Altogether 93 events for Sub-Junior (8-13 yrs), Cadet ( 14-15 yrs.), Junior ( 16-17 yrs.), Senior ( 18 years above) for both male and female will be conducted in the meet.
