To provide quality education to the students, the teachers should also go for refresher and orientation courses, another teacher said.

The teachers also pointed out the practice of private tuition by government school teachers which impacts the students in their schools. They also said that a teacher should become a role model for the students. Teacher-parent bonding is also equally important for the overall development of a student, they said.

Earlier, the DC launched a unique and creative wall art on best practices of learning, basically a learning corner prepared by Gyanam, an educational unit formed by the teachers.

The members of Gyanam were also present during the discussion.

The DC thanked the members of Gyanam for their effort to prepare the wall art within a week. He said it is an initiative which would prove helpful for people visiting the DC office.
