GUWAHATI, Nov 15 - Elections to the Sri Sri Kamakhya Devalaya doloi post will take place on November 27.
The poll schedule was announced today by Additional Deputy Commissioner of Kamrup Metro Pulak Mahanta, who is also the Returning Officer appointed by the administration for the elections.
As per the schedule, nomination papers can be submitted till November 22 to Lakhinandan Saharia, Assistant Returning Officer at Room No 5 at the Kamrup Metro DC�s office here.
The nomination papers will be scrutinised on November 23 and the date for withdrawal of candidature is November 24.
Polling will take place between 8 am and 3 pm in the auditorium located on the premises of the Kamakhya Temple and counting of votes will be taken up from 4 pm the same day, said an official statement.
