GUWAHATI, July 30 - Kaliabor emerged champions in the 10th All Assam Senior Men Hockey Championship defeating Bongaigaon 3-1 in the final played at Misa in Kaliabor today.
In the closing function, chief guest Prokash D, IG CRPF, NES gave away the trophy to the winning team while Ananta Gogoi, ADC, Nagaon handed over the runners-up trophy.
The individual trophy winners were: (Best emerging player) Ghanashyam Saikia (Nagaon); (Player of the tournament) Bhaskar Karki (Bongaigaon), (Highest scorer) Prosenjit Dev (Misa), (Best player of final) Rohit Thakur (Kaliabor).
