GUWAHATI, Nov 7 � City girl Kakoli Lahkar clinched double crown in the 58th Inter District and State Table Tennis Championship which concluded at the Tarun Ram Phookan Indoor Stadium here today.
Kakoli won women�s and youth girl�s singles titles defeating Murchana Gohain of Sivasagar and Kritika Upadhaya of Guwahati respectively.
Saidul Alam Ahmed of NF Railway won the prestigious men�s singles title in the meet. He also won mixed doubles title pairing with Sanjana Sarma.
State Forest Minister and president of Assam Table Tennis Association Rockybul Hussain was the chief guest in the closing function while Director of Sports and former State TT champion Sankar Dutta Lahkar were present as guests.
