DIPHU, March 11 � The Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) has presented the Budget of financial year 2015-16. The Budget under the plan has been estimated at Rs 435.37 crore, which included an amount of Rs 32.58 crore for NSAP and Rs 43.58 crore for AIBP.
The Plan Budget prepared as per the plan allocation 2015-16, communicated to council vide Government letter No. HPD2/ 2015/ 37, dated 18-2-2015. But while, interacting with media persons, Tuliram Ronghang, CEM, KAAC said that an amount of Rs 581.20 is required for salary, allowances and office contingency and the KAAC has proposed for the actual amount required for non-plan to the State Government.
