Junbeel FC emerge champions

JAGIROAD, Dec 24 - Junbeel Football Club lifted the 2nd Lalit Ch Deka Memorial 32nd Jagiroad Inter Club A-Division Football Tournament trophy. In the final today at the Jagiroad Sports Association ground here, Junbeel FC defeated Tiger Club, Bangthaigaon by a solitary goal. The all important goal was scored by Uttam Bordoloi in the 31st minute. Rana Pator of the winning team was the leading scorer of the tournament. Paban Manta, Chief Executive Member, Tiwa Autonomous Council and Tulsi Bordoloi, vice-principal, Jagiroad College were the guests in the closing function and gave away the trophies. The tournament was organised by the Jagiroad Sports Association in which 16 teams took part.
