DULIAJAN, Jan 20 - Jugal Barua of Guwahati clinched the Boys� U-18 title with a convincing 6-1, 6-1 victory against Debanga Protim Hazarika of Golaghat in the final of the OIL-All Assam Junior Tennis Championship which concluded at the Zaloni Club here today.

The tournament, sponsored by Oil India Limited (OIL) was organised by Zaloni Club, Duliajan under the auspices of All Assam Tennis Association.

In the Boys� U-14 category, Debanga Protim Hazarika won the title defeating Andy Thousan of Guwahati 6-1, 6-1 in the final while in the Boys� U-12 group Andy Thousan won the title defeating Jigyashman Hazarika of Guwahati 6-1, 6-1 in the final.

In the Girls� U-18 event, Eva Raj from Guwahati annexed the title defeating Areena Phukan also from Guwahati 6-2, 6-2 in the final while in the Girls� U-14 group, Nishita Borphukan of Dibrugarh won the title beating Areena Phukan 3-6, 6-4, 6-2 in the final

In the closing function the cash scholarships and trophies to the winners and runners-up were distributed by chief guest Bedanta Prasad Sarma, Resident Chief Executive, OIL.
