SHILLONG, May 23 - Justice Ved Prakash Vaish was today sworn in as a Judge of Meghalaya High Court here.
Chief Justice of Meghalaya High Court, Justice Dinesh Maheswari administered the oath of office to the new judge. With the present induction, the High Court which has a sanctioned strength of four judges, now has three, including the Chief Justice.
Justice Vaish obtained Bachelor�s degree in Law in 1984 and was enrolled as an advocate with the Bar Council of Delhi in the same year. Before his elevation as a judge here, Justice Vaish was the additional judge of Delhi High Court.
